Thaler D-ARS-100A Floating Walkway for sloped metal roofs consists of round, hollow section mill finish aluminum railing posts with mounting plates bolted to hollow steel section structural struts. The struts are then bolted between and to the metal roof structural frame (Z-channels or C-channels by others). The walkway itself consists of a 36” (915 mm) high, 1-1/2” (38 mm) diameter Schedule 40 6061-T6 alloy aluminum pipe rail (optional), aluminum walkway safety channel planks fastened to support beams using specially designed bolts and seat washers, and black colored D-100 EPDM Flexible Flashing designed specifically for sloped metal roofs.
Recommended UseSuitable for all slopes from 2° to 45° to provide access for maintenance, fire route, etc. as well as protect roof surface from traffic.
